Mission
To help Filipinos prevent, treat, and manage chronic diseases by addressing root causes through a compassionate blend of Internal Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine grounded in science, sustainability, and empathy.
Vision
A Philippines where people heal beyond prescriptions—where care plans integrate food, movement, sleep, stress mastery, relationships, faith, and evidence-based medicine so families can live well for the long term.
Core Principles
- Root-Cause First: Look beneath symptoms to find drivers of disease.
- Personalized & Practical: Plans that fit your life, culture, and budget.
- Sustainable Habits: Progress over perfection.
- Doctor-as-Partner: Decisions made with you, not for you.
- Compassion Built from Lived Experience: Care from a doctor who’s walked the same road.
From Living with Lupus to Living Well
In 2011, while in residency at St. Luke’s Global City, Kathy’s life shifted from healer to patient when she was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE. Fatigue, brain fog, numbness, and repeated hospitalizations forced her to rethink health beyond managing symptoms.
Conventional medicine kept her alive, something she will always be grateful for, but she felt a gap between treating illness and living well. This search led her to Functional and Lifestyle Medicine, where nutrition, sleep, movement, stress, and relationships became part of the prescription.
Through advanced lab testing, nutrient support (Vitamin D, magnesium, activated B vitamins, microbiome care), and an anti-inflammatory, Filipino-friendly diet, she experienced clearer thinking, steadier energy, and fewer flares. Later, with the guidance of her friend doctor, she added Celergen for cellular repair, supporting resilience as she rebuilt her life.
The pandemic disrupted her clinic and routine, leading to setbacks. But Kathy rebuilt slowly: one meal, one walk, one good night of sleep at a time. In Nueva Vizcaya, she co-founded Live Well Medical & Diagnostic Center, bringing specialized testing and accessible care to her community.
Her biggest lesson? Strictness breaks, sustainability bends and holds.** Healing isn’t about perfection, it’s about small, consistent steps that last.
“I still have lupus, but it doesn’t have me. My promise is simple: we’ll build a plan you can live with, and live well by”.
